KatharinaPure is operated by BIKA FZE LLC (KatharinaPure), Sharjah Publishing City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean BIKA FZE LLC. We are responsible for deciding how personal information is used for the business activities described here, including as a data controller where that term applies.
This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit katharinapure.com or our connected SamCart pages, purchase or access our digital products, subscribe to our emails, or contact us. It covers our online courses, downloadable guides, PDFs, toolkits, checkout add-ons and follow-on offers, including The Toxic Beauty Lie, The Conscious Beauty Decoder Toolkit and The Pure Living Blueprint.
For privacy questions or requests, email hello@katharinapure.com. This policy explains our practices; simply visiting our website does not constitute consent to optional marketing or tracking.
Contact and account information: your name, email address, account identifiers, login and access records, and any telephone number or address you provide through checkout or correspondence. Account credentials are managed through our course platform.
Order and payment information: the products you select, order value, currency, billing details, transaction references, payment status and records of payment disputes or adjustments. Payments are handled through the payment services offered at checkout. We receive order and transaction information and may receive limited payment details, such as card brand and last four digits. We do not store full payment card numbers or card security codes in our own business records.
Course and download information: enrolments, access permissions, login activity and, where the platform records them, lesson progress, completion and download activity. We use this information to provide your purchases and help resolve access issues.
Communications and preferences: messages you send us, support requests, feedback, subscription choices, consent records and unsubscribe requests. Where enabled and permitted, our email tools record delivery, opens and link clicks.
Technical and usage information: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device details, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps, cookie identifiers and events such as checkout visits and purchases. Some of this information is collected automatically through cookies, pixels and connected services. IP addresses and similar identifiers may be personal information.
We receive information directly from you and from providers involved in checkout, course delivery, email and advertising. You do not need to provide health information to buy or use our products. Please avoid sending medical records, diagnoses or other sensitive information in messages or testimonials. If you choose to include it in a support request, we limit its use to handling that request and apply any additional legal requirements.
Purchases and access: to process orders, deliver downloads, provide course accounts, send receipts and access instructions, and respond to purchase-related requests. Where applicable, this processing is necessary to enter into or perform our contract with you.
Business administration and protection: to maintain records, meet tax and accounting duties, prevent misuse, investigate payment disputes and protect our services. We rely on applicable legal obligations, contractual necessity or another ground permitted by the law that applies to the activity.
Marketing and improvement: to send permitted newsletters and product offers, understand how our services are used and measure advertising. We obtain consent where required. Where UK or EU GDPR applies, we may rely on legitimate interests for proportionate service improvement, ordinary enquiries and fraud prevention after considering your rights. We do not use this as a substitute for consent where consent is required, or assume that the same ground applies under UAE law.
We process information under applicable UAE data protection requirements and, where relevant to our activities, laws in the countries of our customers. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. If you do not provide information needed to complete an order or establish access, we may be unable to provide that service.
We use Klaviyo to manage email subscriptions and automated communications. Our SamCart integration can pass contact information and purchase details to Klaviyo so we can send relevant onboarding information and, where permitted, offers based on which products you have purchased. For example, a customer who already owns a toolkit may be excluded from emails promoting that toolkit.
Marketing emails are sent with your consent or another permission available under applicable direct marketing law. Buying a product does not automatically provide blanket consent to all future marketing. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or contact hello@katharinapure.com. Essential order, security and access messages may continue when needed to provide your purchase.
Where enabled and legally permitted, email tracking helps us understand engagement. Email opens are not always accurate because email services may block or automatically load tracking images. You may block remote images through your email settings or unsubscribe from marketing. Product based email segmentation is a form of personalisation; we do not use it to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Our website and connected services use cookies and similar technologies for functions such as checkout, login, security and preferences. Additional technologies may measure usage or advertising performance. Cookies may last for a browsing session or remain until they expire or are deleted.
We use Meta advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel and, where enabled through our integrations, the Conversions API. These tools can send Meta information about visits, checkout activity and purchases, along with browser or device identifiers and, where configured, contact details used for matching. Matching details may be hashed before transmission; hashing does not make them anonymous. Meta may link events to a Facebook or Instagram account and use them under its own privacy terms for advertising and measurement.
Where the law requires consent, optional advertising and tracking technologies must remain inactive until you consent. You can refuse or withdraw optional consent through the cookie controls made available on the site. Browser settings also allow you to delete or block cookies, although blocking essential cookies can affect checkout or course access. Browser cookie controls do not, by themselves, prevent all server-side data sharing.
We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising disclosures can nevertheless count as “sharing”, “sale” or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws. Where those laws apply to our business, you may opt out of the relevant processing and we honour legally required recognised opt-out preference signals. You can also contact hello@katharinapure.com about your advertising choices.
Embedded videos or other third-party content may receive technical information and use their own cookies when loaded. Where required, optional tracking associated with that content is subject to your consent. The cookie information provided on our site should identify the technologies actually used, their providers, purposes and duration.
We disclose information as needed to operate our services: We use SamCart, including its Courses app, to manage purchases, course accounts, enrolments and access to digital products. Information processed may include your name, email address, purchase history and, where recorded by the platform, login activity and course progress. Klaviyo for email delivery and customer communication; the payment providers available at checkout for payments and fraud checks; Google Workspace for business email; and hosting, security, technical support and video-delivery providers where used. Meta receives advertising-related information as described above.
Providers receive information relevant to their services. Depending on their role, they process it on our instructions or act independently for certain purposes, such as their own fraud prevention or legal compliance. Their own privacy notices describe those independent activities.
Information may also be disclosed to authorised personnel and professional advisers who need it, to authorities when legally required, or to protect legal rights and investigate misuse. If our business is sold or reorganised, relevant information may be transferred subject to appropriate protections and any notices required by law.
We seek separate permission before publishing an identifiable testimonial or using your feedback in promotional materials. Public comments you choose to post on social platforms can be seen and used by others under those platforms’ terms.
Our business is based in the United Arab Emirates. Our providers may store or access information in other countries, including the United States. The protections available in those countries may differ from those in your country.
Where a transfer is subject to legal restrictions, we use a permitted transfer mechanism and any required safeguards. Depending on the applicable law and destination, these may include an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the relevant UK transfer documentation, or another legally permitted basis. Contact hello@katharinapure.com for information about the safeguards relevant to your data and how to obtain a copy, subject to appropriate redactions. Visiting our website is not treated as blanket consent to international transfers.
We keep information only for as long as needed for its purpose and any applicable legal requirements. Course account and entitlement records are kept for the period needed to provide the access you purchased. Order, invoice and transaction records are retained for applicable tax, accounting and dispute periods. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and manage related issues.
Marketing profiles are retained while there is an appropriate basis for communication and reviewed for continuing need. After an unsubscribe request, we may retain a minimal suppression record to avoid contacting you again, together with evidence needed to demonstrate consent or compliance. Tracking records are subject to the relevant provider settings and our retention controls.
When information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised. Backup copies may remain until replaced through normal backup cycles and are restricted from ordinary use. A deletion request does not require removal of records that we must lawfully retain.
Depending on your location and the law applicable to us, you may have rights to access or receive a copy of your information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, obtain portable data, withdraw consent, and opt out of certain advertising uses. Where relevant law provides an appeal right, you may also appeal a decision on your request.
Email hello@katharinapure.com with your request and the email address associated with your purchase or subscription. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorised representative’s authority. We respond within the period required by applicable law, explain any permitted extension or refusal, and do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, please contact us at hello@katharinapure.com so we can help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority where applicable law provides this right.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including restricted access and the security features of our service providers. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we assess it and notify relevant authorities and affected individuals where legally required. Nothing in this policy excludes responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Keep your login details private and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Our digital products are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
Links to other websites lead to services governed by their own privacy practices. Please review those notices before
providing information.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. The date at the top shows the latest update. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes and obtain new consent where required.
